FREE WORKFLOW CHECK

Where is work getting stuck?

Pick one piece of work that keeps going wrong and answer a few short questions about it. It takes about five minutes. Before you share any contact details, you'll see what you told us and what we'll look at. Then Mohamed reads your answers and sends you a short written result.

What you'll get

  • Up to three places where the work is likely breaking.
  • What we can tell from your answers, and what still needs checking.
  • One practical first step, usually with the tools you already have.

Free. No obligation. Describe the work, not the people.

Sample scenario — sample data.

Privacy note

This note explains what happens to the information you share with Opriva through this website, by email. We've kept it short and in plain language.

Who we are

Opriva is an independent operations practice run by Mohamed Galal. Opriva is responsible for the information you send us (in data protection terms, the "controller").

Privacy questions and requests: [email protected]

What we collect

When you use the contact form, we receive:

  • your name and work email
  • your company, if you add it
  • what you tell us about where work is getting stuck
  • your preferred contact method and language, if you choose them

If you use the free workflow check, we also receive:

  • your answers about one piece of work: what it is, how it comes in, what counts as done, what went wrong and when, who is responsible, where progress is kept, how misses show up and what they cost, and roughly how many come in each week
  • your role, and when you might want help, if you say
  • your country, if you add it
  • which link brought you to the check (for example, our blog or LinkedIn), and a reference number for your answers

If you email us, we receive what you send.

Please don't include passwords, financial details, health information or other people's personal details in your message. A short description of the workflow is all we need at this stage.

When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver the site and keep it secure. We don't use this to identify you.

Our hosting provider also counts visits to each page for us, using Cloudflare Web Analytics. It runs a small script from Cloudflare and doesn't set cookies.

What we don't do

  • This website doesn't use cookies, tracking pixels or advertising tools.
  • The workflow check doesn't save your answers in your browser. They're sent only when you choose "Send my answers".
  • Apart from Cloudflare's page-visit counter, fonts and other files load from this website, not from third-party services.
  • We don't sell or rent your information.
  • We don't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing.

Why we use your information

We use it only to reply to your enquiry, understand the workflow you describe, write and send your workflow check result if you asked for one, keep track of our follow-up and, if you decide to go ahead, arrange a first conversation and agree the scope of any work.

Where the law asks us to name a legal basis (for example, UK and EU data protection law), we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us, and on taking steps you've asked for before any agreement is made.

Who we share it with

We share your information only with service providers that help us run this website, our communications and our records, and only as far as they need it for that:

  • Cloudflare Pages — hosts this website and counts page visits (Cloudflare Web Analytics)
  • Web3Forms (run by Web3Creative, based in India) — receives messages from our contact form and workflow check and passes them to our business email. It uses other providers that may process your details in the European Union, the United States and elsewhere, and its spam checks share your email address and IP address with spam-filtering services.
  • Namecheap Private Email — our business email
  • Google (Google Sheets) — where we keep a short follow-up list: a reference number, your company's name, our note of how well the request fits our work, and its follow-up status. It doesn't hold your answers or your email address.

We may also disclose information where the law requires us to.

Where it's stored

Our service providers may store or process information outside the country you're in. Where the law requires it, we use providers that offer recognised safeguards for international transfers, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

If we don't go on to work together, we keep your enquiry or workflow check, and its line in our follow-up list, for 12 months after our last contact and then delete them. If we do work together, related records are kept under the terms of that engagement.

Web3Forms keeps its own copy of messages for up to three years by default, under its own terms.

Keeping it secure

Within Opriva, only Mohamed reads enquiries and workflow checks sent through this website. We use reputable providers and take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how we use it, or give you a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll reply within the time the law allows, and we won't charge for a reasonable request.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please tell us first so we can try to put it right. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work — in the UK, that's the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Children

This website and our services are for businesses. They're not aimed at anyone under 18.
